The Canberra Project

My dissertation project involved extensive data capturing and processing of the nose-section of the English Electric Canberra using laser scanning technology. Processed data was then used to create the interactive application. A 3D animation of the aircraft was developed with an interactive scene enhancing the experience. Additionally two 3D printed models accompanied the interactive display.
A visitor survey was carried out to measure user engagement and gain an overall understanding of visitors’ experience. Further developments and adjustments were carried out on the interactive application according to the feedback.
